my first blog is about american idol???

Okay so apparently, there's quite a few pissed off Adam Lambert fans who still can't believe that Kris Allen won the title of American Idol last night. All this morning, I've been reading various articles, blog posts and blog comments about how much Kris Allen sucks and how much America sucks for letting Adam Lambert's sexual orientation sway their votes.

Let me add at this point that I fully support a person's right to marry whoever they want. I also love dramatic theatrics, especially since I've been dancing for 15 years now. I absolutely adore Broadway musicals and LOVE theater jazz.

But if I had voted, I would've voted for Kris Allen because I think he's more original than Adam Lambert. I think Adam is incredibly talented, but all of his performances felt like he was imitating a rock idol, whether it be Elvis or Kiss. But Kris Allen was able to put his own twist to the songs he picked, much like last year's winner, David Cook.

So anyway, my point is that the Adam Lambert fans need to calm the fuck down--it's not like he won't get any record deals for the rest of his life just because he placed second on American Idol (in fact, he stated in interviews that he already has several offers on the table). And take into consideration that some people just like Kris Allen better because they find him to be more talented, and not because they didn't want to vote for a homosexual contestant. And stop talking shit about how Kris Allen can't sing because he obviously can - otherwise he would not have made it this far.

SO STOP ACTING LIKE SORE LOSERS, LAMBERT FANS! IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD FOR ADAM!
